From Vision to Reality
Savanna Sunrise pioneered digital hotel marketing in Kenya, founded by Håvar Bauck and Endre Opdal in 2014. We recognized that the global travel and hospitality industry was moving online fast, and few African hotels had embraced this international trend.
Our first project, Nairobi Airport Hotel, proved that digital marketing works just as well in Africa as anywhere else. That success led us to build HotelOnline, a comprehensive platform that transformed Africa's hospitality sector. Today, Savanna Sunrise remains a consultancy and investment firm, while HotelOnline continues to advance African hospitality excellence globally.
